Halepa is a beautiful, quiet and historic suburb of Chania. During the Cretan Democracy, this area was home to many wealthy merchants and politicians, so it became the centre of the diplomatic activities in Crete.

The Greek Embassy, the old French Academy, the palace of Prince George with its picturesque Russian-style Saint Magdaline church, the house of Elephterios Venizelos (one of the most successful statesmen in modern Greek history), are only some of the historic buildings located in the area.

Situated 50 metres from the sea and 500 metres from the beach, both easily accessible on foot, the hotel is just a 15-minute walk from the city centre and can also be reached by public transportation. Dozens of local restaurants, typical taverns, coffee shops, as well as a cinema, are found along the main road leading to the hotel, lined with unique shops and entertainment venues.

Venizelou street, at number 164: this street begins at the Central Market downtown, approximately 1.5 km away.

By boat
There are daily ferry and high-speed ferry services connecting the Athens' port of Piraeus to Chania's main harbour, located about 7 km from the hotel. A frequent bus service connects the harbour to the town's centre and to the property. Taxis can be easily found at the end of the wharf.
