Several bus lines stop near the hotel and the Temple University subway station is very close, so you can reach Center City (the downtown area of Philadelphia) and the Liberty Bell easily. |

I came here because there was no more availability in the city center, but actually it was a very good choice. The hotel is in fact ten minutes away by bus or metro from the center (stops next to it or two blocks away), or a 10 bucks taxi drive, and the surroundings are very nice. A campus with lots of green, quiet, and yet the basic shops to get what you need (24h "7-11" shop very convenient on the corner). If you go back home late, the police station next to the hotel is a discrete but reassuring presence. There is always someone there.
The employees were warm and helping. The breakfast is fun with the pancake machine. Everything is thoughtfully decorated and set up, with taste and attention.
Plus, I got a suite for a lower price than expected, when I had asked for a regular room. I was delighted by my stay there and would recommend this place to anyone who likes simplicity and total comfort at a budget price. I am so glad they didn't have any room left in the big expensive hotel in the Center!!!
